Troodons Page 81 – Making the carry bag – Making up Darn in loose yarn ends. Fold bag in half, matching top and bottom casing edges. Sew one side seam. Fold over the casing to the WS of the bag and slip stitch in place. Now sew the remaining side seam, ending just below the casing so that an opening is left for the ribbon. Cut a piece of ribbon 21in (53cm) long, thread it through the casing and tie the ends in a knot. Cut out a dinosaur footprint in pink felt using the template. Pin onto the front of bag and stitch in place using the small back stitches (see Finishing Touches page 119). Place Troodons in bag and pull ribbon tight to close. Plesiosaur Page 88 - Back and front paddles Work 9 rows in rib pattern.
Mesosaurus Page 97 Bottom fin (make 1) Using A, cast on 41 sts. Beg working in moss stitch as folls: Row 1: * K1,p1 rep from * to last st, k1. Rep this row once more. Then keeping to patt, inc 1 st at each end of the next 6 rows (53 sts). Cast off in moss stitch.
Pterodactyl Page 102 – Wings Row 12: P7, k1, p7. ** Row 16: P9, k1, p7. Rep the last 2 rows increasing 1 st at end of the RS row to 25 sts and keeping the K st on the WS row as set. [Asterisk removed from end of row 16] Page 103 – Head Using B, work as given for wings to **, cont in this way until there are 25 sts. Change to C. Return to the errata home page...
