| If you would like to make a contribution to Outdoor Photography magazine please take note of the following guidelines: | |

· Study a copy of the latest issue to see which section of the magazine your work best fits in to e.g. Portfolio, Viewpoints, Technique – be sure to mark this clearly on your envelope. · Your submission should be accompanied by a self-addressed envelope with the appropriate postage for the safe return of your work. Where possible, please send transparencies and prints using Special Delivery – ask at your local post office for details. |
| · Make a selection of no more than 15 images, whether transparency, print or digital. Transparencies should be labelled with your name and full contact details and preferably in plastic sleeves for protection. Please do not send slides in glass mounts. Prints should be unmounted and no bigger than 12in x 16in. Please do not send prints in cardboard tubes. Digital files should be 300dpi, roughly A4 in size, Mac compatible TIFFS or JPEGS and burnt on to CD. Please do not send images via email unless requested. · Unfortunately, due to time restraints, we are unable to judge submissions on websites, or accept personal visits. · Please include a covering letter with all submissions. · When your work is received you will be sent an acknowledgment slip. Please bear in mind we receive a great deal of post, so it may be two or three months before you hear from us either way. If we wish to use your submission, we will need to keep it for at least 10 weeks. GMC Publications cannot accept liability for the loss or damage of unsolicited material.
