Synopsis:-
Anthony Bailey's Mission-style bedroom suite is coming on apace and we've got free plans to help you make its handsome 7-drawer chest in American white oak. Moving into the living room or hall, Alan Holtham's bookcase with drawers, also with pull-out plans, is made from moisture-resistant MDF, and John Bullar completes his modern take on a traditional Windsor rocker. Gordon Warr uses Miller dowels to joint a simple stool, Ken Bateman's lap-jointed workbench is slatted and made from floorboards, and Michael Huntley's got a first-class answer to untidy letters in the form of a storage box. In the first of a mini series Michael also shows you how to get your new plane singing a fine tune while John Bullar talks about marking out for furniture making, Peter Benson carves a polar bear head, Colin Simpson turns a small bowl and Alan does some timber-fuming experiments. On the Kit & Tool front we're focusing on detail sanders and multi-tools and also test Makita's great new cordless pin naile
